Tradition At Its Finest!
Our final tasting is the Burnt Caramel style vodka, Soplica (pronounced Soplitsa) Przepalanka. Soplica is one of the older brands of Polish pure and flavoured vodka, having been first produced in 1891. Although the origins of vodka in Poland can be traced back to as early as the 8th century, Soplica is one of the older industrially produced brands of vodka in the country.
This final vodka tasting is paired with Mini Potato Blintz served Sour Cream and Sauerkraut. Potato pancakes are a national staple in Poland and in most towns you can buy them through a hole in the wall. Many Polish people enjoy sprinkling the pancake with sugar for taste and flair.
Borsch Vodka Tears offer up their dish in a more savoury way with some purple sauerkraut for colour and texture.

The bitterness in the crunchy sauerkraut will compliment the creaminess of the caramel and potato. The sour cream collects all of the different flavours, making it a great combination of sweet and savoury bites!
