About Concrete Boots
Making home on the former site of Dizzy’s Jazz Club, the owner Andrew Reed has extracted the bebop and injected the hip-hop, giving the Burnley side of Richmond a great new local hang out!
The name Concrete Boots comes from the time when gangsters and criminals used to hang around this part of Melbourne, and those unlucky enough to cross them ended up in the Yarra River wearing ‘concrete boots’.
Locality and inclusivity is key to the new venue’s philosophy! They are all about showcasing local Victorian craft beers and their food menu proudly satisfies both ravenous vegans and protein-lovers alike! Andrew runs his bar with the mentality “if your happy, were happy!”
