Mandatory Tasks
Do or Die
In true party spirit, we’ve given each team a balloon to look after for the entire race. If your balloon survives the duration of the race and crosses the finish line intact your team will be awarded a 10 minute time deduction! (note - sabotage is allowed!)
Solve this riddle and seek out your host to get one step closer to your final destination! If you fail to complete this you will be disqualified!
Penalty Tasks
Do or suffer a time penalty
Heavy night with the boys? Find these friendly fellows and nominate two team members to pose with these fancy business men trying to mask their hangover!
If you fail to complete this you will receive a 15 minute penalty
Treat yourself to a well earned drink at a bar or cafe of your choice and complete the envelope challenge in your Race Kit. At the venue, get a team photo holding your completed pub quiz for a successfully completed challenge.
If you fail to send the team picture with your completed quiz you’ll receive a 20 minute penalty. You will receive a 1 minute penalty per incorrect or unanswered question.
Roam the famous laneways of Melbourne and you’ll find Kim Kardashian West. Snap a pic of her with two people doing a reenactment and striking their best Kimmy K pose! Failure do so will result in a 10 minute penalty
Who doesn't love a bit of shopping! Find the classiest pair of dress shoes or a bow tie and have one of your team snap a photo with it and send it to your host! Failure to do this will result in a 10 minute penalty.
Ready to experience a blast from the past? Take a photo of a team member holding a tech item from the past eg. flip phone, cassette, CD player, tamagotchi. Failure to do this will result in a 5 minute penalty.
Bonus Tasks!
Do and turn back time - Cher style!
Recreate this famous Hangover movie scene! Failure to do this will result in a 5 minute penalty.
Create a 30 second - 1 minute "music video" to a song of your choice. The music video should include, dancing, lip syncing, and dramatic shots. Be creative! Send your "final cut" to your host for a 10 min deduction! The best video will recieve a FURTHER 10 minute deduction.
Did you know that Melbourne has the largest tramway system in the WORLD? Get a team member to take a selfie with a City-Circle Tram for a 15 minute time deduction.
To deduct 10 minutes from your total race time, everyone on your team must cross the finish line wearing ONE ITEM that's matching! The most creative gets bonus time deducted!
Now it’s time to find a member of the public to fake a proposal scene! Film and send it to your host for a 10 minute deduction! They best be on one knee!
