Do or Die
In true party spirit, we’ve given each team a balloon to look after for the entire race. If your balloon survives the duration of the race and crosses the finish line intact your team will be awarded a 10 minute time deduction! (note - sabotage is allowed!)
Use the map below to find "The Rainman". There, you will find your hosts waiting for you with your next challenge. If you fail to complete this you will be disqualified!
Penalty Tasks
Do or suffer a time penalty
Acland street is a sweet tooth’s haven! Which two patisseries sell the famous Kooglhoupf and The Acland Special? Find these sweet treats and take a picture for proof.
If you fail to complete this you will receive a 10 minute penalty
Oh, we do like to be beside the seaside! Head to the beach - it’s time to put your creativity to the test! Nominate one person in your team to hold a classy pose and the rest of the team are tasked with recreating your pose as a sand sculpture! Take a picture of your masterpiece and send it to us! Failure to do this will result in a 15 minute penalty.
Who doesn't love a bit of shopping! Find the classiest pair of heels or a handbag and have one of your team snap a photo with it and send it to your host! Failure to do this will result in a 10 minute penalty.
Treat yourself to a well earned drink at a bar or cafe of your choice and complete the envelope challenge in your Race Kit. At the venue, get a team photo holding your completed pub quiz for a successfully completed challenge.
If you fail to send the team picture with your completed quiz you’ll receive a 20 minute penalty. You will receive a 1 minute penalty per incorrect or unanswered question.
Recreate this photo with some classic St Kilda street art in the background! Failure to do this will result in a 10 minute penalty!
Bonus Tasks!
Do and turn back time - Cher style!
Recreate ONE of these famous movie scenes for a time deduction with a member of the public! We love a good laugh! So BONUS POINTS for creativity!
Time to get the public involved! For a 15 minute time deduction, Head to some steps and get at least 4 members of the public - on video - to join your team in a viral Tiktok dance move OR 20-second conga line.
Ready to experience a blast from the past? Take a photo of a team member holding a tech item from the past eg. flip phone, cassette, CD player, tamagotchi. Send a photo for proof for a 5 minute time deduction.
Now it’s time to find someone to fake a proposal scene! They best be on one knee! Film and send it to your host for a 10 minute deduction! He best be on one knee!
To deduct 10 minutes from your total race time, everyone on your team must cross the finish line wearing ONE ITEM that's matching! The most creative gets bonus time deducted!
