Mandatory Tasks
Do or Die
In true party spirit, we’ve given each team a balloon to look after for the entire race. If your balloon survives the duration of the race and crosses the finish line intact your team will be awarded a 10 minute time deduction! (note - sabotage is allowed!)
Do you know these kangaroos? Seek out your hosts beside this watering hole to get closer to the finish line! If you fail to complete this you will be disqualified!
Penalty Tasks
Do or suffer a time penalty
Do you know this man? Locate this street performer, take a creative snap with him and tell us his name!
If you fail to complete this you will receive a 15 minute penalty
Treat yourself to a well earned drink at a cafe of your choice and complete the envelope challenge in your Race Kit. At the venue, get a team photo holding your completed quiz for a successfully completed challenge.
If you fail to send the team picture with your completed quiz you’ll receive a 20 minute penalty. You will receive a 1 minute penalty per incorrect or unanswered question.
Get three members of your team to simultaneously go up to a random person and ask them for their autograph as if they’re famous! Film the action. Failure to do this will result in a 5 minute penalty.
Ready to experience a blast from the past? Take a photo of a team member holding a tech item from the past eg. gramophone, cassette, CD player, tamagotchi. Failure to do this will result in a 10 minute penalty.
Can you get the following objects all in one photo? Failure do so will result in a 10 minute penalty
Bonus Tasks!
Do and turn back time - Cher style!
Recreate ONE of these famous scenes with your team for a time deduction! We love a good laugh so bonus minutes deducted for the most creative!
To deduct 15 minutes from your total race time, everyone on your team must cross the finish line wearing a fake moustache!
I am a four-digit number. I am the square of a two-digit number. The sum of my digits is 9. I am greater than 2000, but less than 2100. What number am I? Send the answer to this riddle to your host to receive a 10 minute deduction
To deduct 20 minutes from your total race time, find Point Zero. This is the point where all roads and distances are measured from in Perth. Take a picture of your teams feet around the plaque that pin points this location and send it to your host.
Nominate someone’s knee or elbow! Find a pen and turn that knee or elbow into a famous person! Text it through to your host and if they guess who it is we'll deduct 5 minutes!
