Do or Die
In true party spirit, we’ve given each team a balloon to look after for the entire race. If your balloon survives the duration of the race and crosses the finish line intact your team will be awarded a 10 minute time deduction! (note - sabotage is allowed!)
Solve the below to find the location of your next host and get one step closer to the finish line! If you fail to complete this you will be disqualified!
Penalty Tasks
Do or suffer a time penalty
Who even owns a wallet these days? Find this one and nominate two team members with the least fashion sense to pose on top with their best runway model position!
If you fail to complete this you will receive a 15 minute penalty
Treat yourself to a well earned drink at a pub or cafe of your choice and complete the envelope challenge in your Race Kit. At the venue, get a team photo holding your completed pub quiz for a successfully completed challenge.
If you fail to send the team picture with your completed quiz you’ll receive a 20 minute penalty. You will receive a 1 minute penalty per incorrect or unanswered question.
Get three members of your team to simultaneously go up to a random person and ask them for their autograph as if they’re famous! Film the action. Failure to do this will result in a 5 minute penalty.
Ready to experience a blast from the past? Take a photo of a team member holding a tech item from the past eg. flip phone, cassette, CD player, tamagotchi. Failure to do this will result in a 10 minute penalty.
Can you get the following objects all in one photo? Failure to do this will result in a 10 minute penalty.
Roam the famous laneways of Melbourne and you’ll find Kim Kardashian West. Snap a pic of her with two people doing a reenactment and striking their best Kimmy K pose! Failure do so will result in a 10 minute penalty
When was your last exotic vacation?! Take a team selfie with a foreign currency coin or bill! Failure do so will result in a 10 minute penalty
Bonus Tasks!
Do and turn back time - Cher style!
Recreate ONE of these famous movie scenes with a member of the public for a time deduction! We love a good laugh so bonus minutes deducted for the most creative!
Did you know that Melbourne has the largest tramway system in the WORLD? Get a team member to take a selfie with a City-Circle Tram for a 15 minute time deduction.
Time to get the public involved! For a 15 minute time deduction, Head to some steps and get at least 4 members of the public - on video - to join your team in a viral Tiktok dance move OR 20-second conga line.
Nominate someone’s knee or elbow! Find a pen and turn that knee or elbow into a famous person! Text it through to your host and if they guess who it is we'll deduct 5 minutes!
Take a selfie with the iconic clock in Melbourne Central at 12.15pm. The team with the pic closest to this time will receive a 10 minute time deduction.
Always late for work? For a 15 minute time deduction find these friendly fellows and nominate two team members to pose with these fancy business men!
To deduct 10 minutes from your total race time, everyone on your team must cross the finish line wearing a fake moustache!
