Upon arrival at each restaurant, let them know your name, and that you are on your AmazingCo Mystery Food Walk.

Did you know?

“Xiao Long” refers to the small bamboo steaming basket and “Bao” refers to bun in Chinese, hence the name Xiao Long Bao!

Xiao Long Bao are best eaten with chopsticks and a spoon. Lift the dumpling onto the spoon and pierce a hole in the wrapper to release some steam. Following that, you can take a small bite and sip the juices out, or eat it all in one bite!

Something with a surprising centre!

Just across from Market Lane is Cohen Place - home to the Chinese Museum. Entry is $11 if you want to check it out - you’ll find 5 floors showcasing the heritage and culture of Australia's Chinese community.

Alternatively, we recommend you head down Paynes Place (which turns into Croft Alley) and check out the famous street art! Hidden away at the end of the lane is a Melbourne classic - The Croft Institute. It opens at 8 pm for killer cocktails so if you’re staying in the city we recommend you come back!
