Do or Die
In true party spirit, we’ve given each team a balloon to look after for the entire race. If your balloon survives the duration of the race and crosses the finish line intact your team will be awarded a 10 minute time deduction! (note - sabotage is allowed!)
Use the clue below to find your host and get one step closer to the finish line! If you fail to complete this you will be disqualified!
Penalty Tasks
Do or suffer a time penalty
Heavy night and now you're late for work? Find these friendly fellows and nominate two team members to pose with these fancy business men trying to mask their hangover!
If you fail to complete this you will receive a 15 minute penalty
Treat yourself to a well earned drink at a pub or cafe of your choice and complete the envelope challenge in your Race Kit. At the venue, get a team photo holding your completed pub quiz for a successfully completed challenge.
If you fail to send the team picture with your completed quiz you’ll receive a 20 minute penalty. You will receive a 1 minute penalty per incorrect or unanswered question.
Take a group photo at the Coles Fountain in Parliament gardens. Failure do so will result in a 10 minute penalty. The most creative photo will earn a 5 minute deduction.
Find a sign with the name Tom, Dave, Jon or Scott on it. Take a group selfie with it and send it across to avoid a 5 minute penalty.
Visit any bar, restaurant or vendor and buy 1 purple drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic under $20). Send us a photo of a team member drinking it and tell us its name. Failure to do this will result in a 10 minute penalty. Use your VISA gift card.
Bonus Tasks!
Do and turn back time - Cher style!
Recreate ONE of these famous sporting moments with your team for a time deduction! We love a good laugh so bonus minutes deducted for the most creative video!
Time to get the public involved! For a 15 minute time deduction, Head to some steps and get at least 4 members of the public - on video - to join your team in a viral Tiktok dance move OR 20-second conga line.
For a 5 minute deduction take a selfie with a member of public who fits the following descriptions; Is wearing something purple; Is wearing a sporting team's merch; Has the Dabble App on their phone
Earn a 1 minute deduction for every non-team person you get to pose making the Dabble 'D' sign. Send photos as proof.
To deduct 10 minutes from your total race time, everyone on your team must cross the finish line wearing something purple that you didn't start the race with. You can use the remaining VISA gift card funds to buy items.
