Mandatory Tasks
Do or Die
In true party spirit, we’ve given each team a balloon to look after for the entire race. If your balloon survives the duration of the race and crosses the finish line intact your team will be awarded a 10 minute time deduction! (note - sabotage is allowed!)
Do you know these kangaroos? Find your host by this watering hole for a challenge and get one step closer to the finish line! If you fail to complete this you will be disqualified!
Penalty Tasks
Do or suffer a time penalty
The Ghekko hides amongst the walls of Wolf Lane. Get a team selfie in front of this art work.
If you fail to complete this you will receive a 15 minute penalty
Treat yourself to a well earned drink at a pub or cafe of your choice and complete the envelope challenge in your Race Kit. At the venue, get a team photo holding your completed pub quiz for a successfully completed challenge.
If you fail to send the team picture with your completed quiz you’ll receive a 20 minute penalty. You will receive a 1 minute penalty per incorrect or unanswered question.
Take a photo with a member of public who is wearing either; a cowboy hat, cowboy boots or cow print. Failure do so will result in a 10 minute penalty
Who doesn't love a cocktail - solve these cocktail anagrams and get a picture of a team member drinking the one with the most ingredients. Failure to do this will result in a 10 minute penalty.
What better way to settle a debate than a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors! Head to a bar of your choice and nominate one member of your team to take on a bar tender in a classic Rock, Paper, Scissors Showdown (first to 3 wins)! If you lose, you and your team must take a shot of Tequila at the bar. Be sure to send video evidence to your host or face a 10 minute penalty.
Bonus Tasks!
Do and turn back time - Cher style!
Recreate ONE of these famous iconic 'western' scenes with your team for a time deduction! We love a good laugh so bonus minutes deducted for the most creative!
To deduct 20 minutes from your total race time, find Point Zero. This is the point where all roads and distances are measured from in Perth. Take a picture of your teams feet around the plaque that pin points this location and send it to your host.
Create and film a new greeting action that functions as an alternative to a handshake! It must include at least three different moves - get creative!
Text it through to your host and the best one will be awarded a 10 min deduction!
To deduct 10 minutes from your total race time, everyone on your team must cross the finish line 'lassoed' together!
SABOTAGE TIME! If one of your team members manages to get a selfie of themselves with an entire other team in the background then your team will be awarded a 10 minute deduction. (BUT please note - it must be the whole team and they can’t be looking at the camera - otherwise it’s not valid!)
